Born on December 11, 1928, Florence was the daughter of the late Hal and Florence (nee Altman) Kirkpatrick. Through her life, she touched the hearts of those around her, establishing an irreplaceable bond not only with her family but also with many friends in the area. Her warmth, humor, and steadfast love helped shape the lives of countless individuals.

Her Wonderful Family

Florence is survived by her impressive family, which is a testament to her nurturing spirit. She leaves behind eight children: Irene (Ted) Lietz, Brian (Martha), Kathleen (Ralph) Clevinger, Maureen (Greg) Cowley, Kevin (Mary Carol), Patrick (Elaine), Colleen (Bill) Whiteford, and Mary (Chris) Sutton, along with her daughter Florence (David) Rycerz. Adding to the joy she brought into the world, Florence was the proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. The family will hold a visitation to honor Florence’s memory on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home. Located at 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093, the venue will provide a gathering space for family and friends to come together, share stories, and celebrate a life richly lived.

A special rosary service will take place at 4:00 PM on the same day for those wishing to participate in this moving tribute. On Saturday, March 8, 2025, an instate viewing at 10:30 AM will precede the funeral mass scheduled for 11:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres, located at 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093.
