Conveniently organized and managed by a team of passionate teenage automotive enthusiasts led by 19-year-old David Kibbey, the Northville Concours d’Elegance aims to instill a love for U.S. automotive heritage in the youth. Kibbey, who started the event in 2021 with an all-volunteer youth group, brings significant experience to the table, having previously served as a judge at prestigious events such as Amelia Island and Pebble Beach.

The event is supported by Chief Mentor Ed Welburn, the retired General Motors Design Chief, along with a dedicated team of 20 industry mentors who will guide younger judges during the concours event. This collaborative approach not only nurtures budding automotive enthusiasts but also paves the way for future leaders within the automotive world.
