The Return Of The Orchard Lake Fine Art Show
WEST BLOOMFIELD – Revel in a Bonanza of Artistic Mastery
The Orchard Lake Fine Art Show is making a triumphant comeback this summer, delighting the residents of West Bloomfield, as well as art enthusiasts from all over the country. The much-anticipated art experiential is set to take place on July 27 and 28, with the Saturday art show running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday’s show timed between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
What to Expect?
This year’s show is expected to feature approximately 130 artists, all vetted by a panel of art professionals. Continuing the revered tradition, every piece displayed will be original and personally handcrafted by the artists. Live music performances and a broad palette of food options will punctuate the artsy ambiance. The Orchard Lake Fine Art Show has been lauded as one of the country’s top art shows on 12 occasions, testifying its massive acclaim.
A Confluence of Multidisciplinary Art
The art show is a cherished event for its diverse offering of various art disciplines, including painting, clay, glass, sculpture, jewelry, and wood. Scott Bayless, a renowned glass artist from Illinois, will be one of the many artists presenting their work. Bayless, an infrequent participant in similar shows, has been a part of the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show several times since 2007.
The Essence of the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show
The organizer Patty Narozny, owner and producer of Hot Works, believes that this event stands out from other similar shows due to its esteemed reputation with the artist community, resulting in the presentation of unique artists and their masterpieces.
“We ensure there’s something to intrigue everyone by displaying a wide spectrum of art, ranging from valuable pieces for serious collectors to affordable pieces starting at $20-$25 for those warming up to the idea of owning original, handmade art,” she elucidates.
Impact of the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show
Steven Kaplan, West Bloomfield Township Supervisor, attests to the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show’s significance, claiming that the event, attended by him and his wife every year, contributes greatly to the local community’s identity. “The art fair, in many ways, defines West Bloomfield, because friends and neighbors frolic at the fair.”, he adds.
Apart from stirring the local community, the show continues to provide a stellar platform for artists like Bayless who typically prefer to directly ship their work through galleries. “It is fun to interact with people who will be putting my pieces in their homes,” says he.

The art show is located near Powers and Daly roads, with free parking available at the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Care Center. The admission fee amounts to a mere $5, except for children aged 13 and under who are admitted free of charge. The receipt provides unlimited access for the duration of the show.
