Police in Novi Seek Help Locating Missing 85-Year-Old Man

The authorities in Novi are calling on the public to assist in finding an elderly gentleman who has disappeared. The missing man, named as Walter Christopher, is 85 years old and was last seen almost a month ago on the 16th of July.

Christopher was last spotted heading southbound on Northland Drive and M-57 in Kent County around 6:13 p.m. He resides in Novi and had left the area near 13 Mile Road and Meadowbrook Road driving a two-toned blue and silver Ford Edge. The vehicle carries a Michigan license plate numbered 8168J9.

When he left home in the morning around 9:00 a.m., he was wearing dark-colored shorts and a printed shirt. He left his abode situated in the 1500 block of Longfellow Street and did not return home.

The missing man is described as being six feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. The authorities are increasingly concerned about his welfare and are making every possible attempt to locate him.

Anyone who may have information about Christopher’s whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen him or his vehicle, is urged to contact Novi Police Department directly on 248-348-7100. Alternatively, tips can be given to Crime Stoppers on 1-800-Speak Up.

The anonymous Crime Stoppers service allows people to provide information about crimes without having to leave their name, ensuring their full anonymity. Every little bit of information matters and could potentially assist in locating Christopher.
